Last week we began inviting your suggestions for Now We Know - our Saturday segment reviewing our favorite stories of the week. Our most recent Now We Know included the Romney campaign's blatant misrepresentation of the president's words in their campaign ad, a distinction between encampments deserving and undeserving of rough police treatment, and in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday, what Chris is thankful for.
What local or national stories caught your eye this week?
To submit your ideas, email us at upwithchris@msnbc.com with a subject line "Now We Know", or post a comment below. Include link(s) to the story so we can verify authenticity, and be sure to tell us how you'd like to be credited if we choose your Now We Know suggestion.
Keep in mind, we do see a lot of stories ourselves, so please remember not to get upset if we discuss your story and don’t credit you. But if it’s something you bring to our attention first, we will of course give you credit.
We look forward to hearing from you and reading your submissions!

Now we finally know how beautiful Chris' daughter looks and we know that Chris will be a proud father for the rest of his life. Congratulations to mum and dad Hayes.
As a proud member of the echo-chamber, I'm sure that, for the most part, I read the same sources for my daily palaver as the rest of y'all, with the possible exception of some local Wisconsin rags. That said, if there's a hot steaming pile of political intrigue simmering in some forgotten corner of the Dairy State, I'll be the first to send the link!
How about covering the fact that Dr. Oz was RIGHT about the arsenic in apple juice and the FDA was wrong. WOW. That's not good.
Maybe because Dr. Oz is, in fact, wrong.
Bank of America is foreclosing on 7000 homes this week.
Wells Fargo has been denying me any assistance to modify my home, trying for over 2 years. Found out some things this week after my case was escalated to the Office of the Pres. at Wells Fargo due to a letter I wrote to President Obama - the treasury dept escalated my case. Found out thru the top level rep there (inadvertently) what's been happening to my pages and pages of documents. They asked me things that have nothing to do with my loan - that I need to include my husband's earnings statement and I have no husband - and am the only name on the loan ever! Told me my P&L stmt was done incorrectly and therefore denied me the modification yet again - and I filled it out on the phone directly with the adjuster!!! It goes on and on and on - won't list it all here but wish somebody would let me voice this in the media instead of all this BS re Herman Cain and Newt!!! Help!
Now we know that 1/2 of the African American population in Michigan lives in communities taken over by the state, isn't it time for someone to examine the racial impact of these state take overs of city government. The Wall Street/Washington Axis of evil needs to eliminate threats to power and elimination of local government is one more step in the centralization of power. Interesting how little attention this is getting, because it is happening all over America. Once the banksters get the African American communities, the Latino and poor white communities are next. Just like with the slow erosion of individual liberty and economic security over the past 30 years, your corporate masters are going to do this gradually until the very idea of local government gets called into question, just like they gradually got rid of the progressive income tax, environmental regulations, campaign finance regulations, deregulation of markets and destruction of unions, non-profits and social justice organizations. The axis of evil is winning the war and with the media owned by them the opposition is at a significant disadvantage.
