So, the standard liberal bastions, basically...
Huh?? Barnes and Noble? Harvard Bookstore? Are you basically saying that all book stores, big box corporate as well as small independents, are "standard liberal bastions?"
Of course they are! ALL bookstores are bastions of liberality. If you are a conservative and want to learn something, you don't go to a bookstore. You go to a NASCAR race, or a WWF fight, or stay home and watch FOX. ;)
I would suspect pecola is referring to the cities on the tour, not the specific locations of the events. You might want to take a deep breath once in a while.
Yes, I guess you could call educated, thinking places, "liberal bastions". What a crime. I only wish he would come to Powell's in Portland, Oregon! Now THAT is a wonderful, intellectual liberal bastion!! Come on, Chris! Rachel came!
Please consider Asheville, NC!!
Please consider Asheville, NC as a stop on your book tour!!
Powell's Books in Portland Or?
Ditto that = I'd drive 2.5 from E Oregon to hear Chris....
Another plea for Portland!
I'd drive 2.5 hours from western Oregon, Chris. How could you leave out Portland?
Powells is the essential West Coast stop, Chris.
This, you should now know...
I notice you aren't coming to Texas. Afraid of us? Don't be. I adore you. Of course, I live in Austin.
Dallas is the home of your biggest Texas fans.
He will be in Boston less than a week before I travel there from Texas. Drat summer school!!
Dallas, Austin...meh.
Come to a real city - Houston!!!!
...okay, I am just kidding about Austin and Dallas (kinda), but you go anywhere in Texas, then I am sure I will make the trek there!
I live near Fort Hood but Austin is as close as any...
No AZ? Hey, not all of us here are teabaggers!
Why not Ann Arbor, MI??? Consider it please!
Please consider Ann Arbor, MI or Detroit!
Please avoid Iowa City. My wife's crush is bad enough as it is.
Be safe out there Chris.
If you read any of the Conservative blogs last week, you know there are some seriously deranged minds out there.
Philadelphia, PA. please put that in the list :)
The week of June 17 - 24 would be a GREAT time to see you in Phoenix! Nice stop between Chicago and California... just sayin'.
Hear, hear!
Head through Denver, maybe catch Vegas... you are taking the tour bus, right?
Yes... VEGAS!! It will be fun. You can sign books, and fry eggs on the sidewalk. Before noon.
We have a couple of beautiful B&N-- all shiny and airy.
No visit to Books & Books in Coral Gables?
And no military bases either.
But after his hero blast, I don't think he would welcome.
How about Columbus, OH? We got a lot of progressives here who'd love to meet you.
Are you seriously NOT going to be at Netroots Nation next week, signing books? Who is your publicist? That should have been a book-launch "gimme."
How does one delete a duplicate comment? I tried and wound up recing my own comment. Bad form, I know.
Chris Hayes, are you SERIOUSLY not going to be at Netroots Nation next week? Liberal book-launch "gimmie."
How about more small independent book stores like in run by Tammy and Dan Domike
what a great polital show! ,but a topic that as be ignord is the subprime bowwers fight against the banks, im one who as won twice in court and have at least one more pending, and this case is exsposing the banks grivios behavior, im mean even citi lawyer is wanting a out,i just cant get any media outlet to help me bring this to light! i belive its my civic responsablity to inform the general puplic of these crimes that been commited against me
I'm commenting on your show aired on 6/2, re: drone strikes. Your guest Jeremy Scahhill openly called President Obama a murderer . It this is true, we all are murderers for allowing war. We send our citizens to war to kill or be killed. During these wars many civilians are murdered, including women & children. Now that we can reduce the number of people being killed by implemented targeted attacks, Obama is a murderer. NO killing is OK!! But, one would think, the fewer lives lost the better. No one on your show, including you, effectively countered Scahill's remarks. The truth is that Obama became personally involved in the drone strikes to make sure tghat few people were killed as possible. I know Scahill has a right to his opinion, but if he can be heard, someone should point out the balanced view. It's an election year and the media has to be responsible for its reporting.
A shout out from an ex-pat across the pond. Big fan of the show and while I'm sure it's tricky to sort out, it would excellent if you swung round to London on your book tour.
Notice all the stops are in democrat states LOL.
What whimp hayes is...
Heck even rachel maddow is twice the man hayes is..
How shocking that the only real comment a conservative can make is an ad hoc attack on someone who doesn't agree with him/her? What about a thinking discussion on the issues? Oh, that's right; Conservatives can't deal in facts, logic, science, etc. Why peruse this site if you only want to attack? I promise not many of us go and comment on FOX propagandists. This ilk is why many of us on the left have decided "discussion" with conservatives is fruitless.
Hayes hates capitalism, yet he is doing everything under the sun to sell his book LOL...
So who is hayes going to donate the proceeds from the book sales too?
What do you bet it will be good ole' hip pocket national bank, account number hayes's wallet.
It must make Chris giggle a little to see how he gets under the skin of some people.
Please come to Book People in Austin, Texas. It's a locally owned, independent book store in a progressive oasis. Save time for live music, barbeque and other fun stuff. You'll love us.
Just downloaded the book from www.audible.com. Please put Minneapolis on your book tour.
another vote for Philadelphia -- it's an easy train ride from NYC!
Please pardon my typos, I attempted to edit but was too late. I saw them and wish I had a red pen to correct them!
